We are looking to hire an Office Manager to join The de la Garza Law Group. You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities of the firm, bookkeeping and assisting with Human Resource responsibilities.

We are looking to hire an Office Manager to join The de la Garza Law Group. You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities of the firm, bookkeeping and assisting with Human Resource responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to management team
- Properly enter checks and characterize expenses and distributions in Quickbooks
- Reconcile accounting in QuickBooks
- Provide P&Ls, Balance Sheets and other financials as requested by management
- Oversee and complete annual filing of 1099s
- Assist with maintaining work facilities by communicating any technical issues with IT or other service providers
- Help improve cross-department internal communication
- Oversee office tasks such as making sure office supplies are replenished and office is kept up
- Assist in implementation of company culture, values and policies
- Assist with strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates including reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews
- assist with coordination of events focused on employee recognition and training
- Assist with onboarding of new employees
- Previous experience in Human Resources, administrative and other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong leadership
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Experience with contingency fee based legal practices
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
