JOB TITLE: Direct Bill Data Entry (Bookkeeper)
POSITION TYPE: Part Time
Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, subject to candidates’ availability and special projects.
REPORTS TO: Controller
PRIMARY ROLE: Provide support to our Controller on their day-to-day maintenance and processing of Direct Bill income, reconciling statement, assisting with routine banking, administrative and accounting tasks.
DUTIES:
· Provide administrative support for staff through various independent projects.
· Enter data into various systems accurately and efficiently
· Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
· Perform basic math calculations as needed for data entry tasks
· Utilize Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets
· Process cash receipts and other daily financial transactions
· Update client profiles in system
· Assist with pulling information from financial institutions websites to assist with processing.
· Following up and resolving differences.
· Generating invoices and cash receipts batches
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
· Experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
· Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Excel & Outlook
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Works independently and with team members
· Ability to meet monthly processing deadlines
· No insurance industry or client services experience is necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
