Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Grain Elevator Location Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grain elevators, ensuring efficient and safe grain handling and storage practices.
Essential Functions:
- Buy and sell grain in accordance with market conditions and customer needs.
- Manage risk by monitoring grain condition and implementing strategies to minimize losses.
- Supervise outside operations staff, office staff, and truck drivers to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and NGFA rules and practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, catering to their needs and expectations.
- Organize and execute capital and maintenance plans to maintain and improve facilities.
- Manage truck driver schedules and monitor fleet maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
