Grain Elevator Location Manager
Job Description:
The Grain Elevator Location Manager oversees employees to achieve a common goal of servicing customers, retaining them year-over-year, and ensuring grain is in condition for delivery of a quality product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage risk by monitoring grain condition.
- Buy and sell grain.
- Oversee outside operations staff, office staff, and truck drivers.
- Monitor costs and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and NGFA rules.
- Servicing customers and catering to their needs.
- Organize and execute the 5-year Capital & R/M Plan.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in merchandising grain, grain origination, and outside operations.
- 3 years of experience leading teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly.
