Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Inpatient Care Management: Deliver comprehensive medical services to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Physician Collaboration: Work closely with hospitalists to coordinate patient care, discuss complex cases, and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Patient Flow Management: Efficiently manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to maintain optimal hospital throughput.
- Multidisciplinary Team Participation: Contribute to daily rounds, interdisciplinary conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner Certification: Possess current certification from a recognized professional organization, such as AANP or ANCC.
- Hospital Medicine Experience: Hold a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a nurse practitioner in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar role.
- EHR Familiarity: Proficient in using electronic health record systems, such as EPIC, to document patient information and communicate with healthcare teams.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
