Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry tasks and aiding in staying on schedule. Need to be proactive and aid in running the floor / schedule smoothly.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring an aseptic technique is followed at all times.
- Utilize dental software such as Opendental/ Practice web for medical documentation and patient management.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist with digital impressions.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required- Minimum 2 years.
- Xray certification required.
- Infection control certification required.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental / Practice web is advantageous.
- Proficient in using 3D scanners and other dental technology.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
- Must be a team player who can work collaboratively within a dental team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
