Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Oversee scheduling, billing, and patient records management using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems.
- Implement fiscal management practices to ensure the financial health of the practice.
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology and regulations relevant to dental care.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate administrative staff performance, fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Develop and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and critical care management when necessary.
- Monitor utilization management processes to optimize resource allocation within the practice.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office or dental practice management role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of fiscal management principles and practices related to healthcare settings.
- Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- A background in veterinary or critical care environments is a plus but not required.
