Sr Network Administrator (Perm Residents Only) - US Citizens or GC Holders are only being considered
Location: Camden, NJ
Type: 1st 90 days require 5 days per week onsite / after 90 days - hybrid 2 days per week onsite
Term: Perm FTE
Salary Range: $115k 8.5% Bonus
Travel: The role involves 10-20% travel across 40 sites, operational support, and mentoring junior staff.
Role and Ideal Experience:
- Tier 3 Support Role
- 4 years of experience in enterprise-level networks, specifically Cisco and Juniper platforms.
- Configuration of HW & SW Installs
- Hands on with wireless Networks/Switches/Firewalls
- Someone who can evaluate the system performance with goals of optimization and initiate recovery action after system failures, serve as the primary support for the enterprise network and telecommunication data center for all corporate office locations.
- This is a Primary Support Role & must be able to mentor Jr. Admins (Tier 1 & 2 Support)
- Will lead projects
MUST HAVE:
- Cisco Nexus series switches, Meraki switches,
- Routing protocols like BGP and OSPF (core foundation)
- Cisco ISE
- Experience standing up a new facility
Job Description:
The Sr. Network Administrator designs, implement, and manages the network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. This role includes overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. The Sr. Network Administrator monitors network performance, troubleshoots complex issues, and ensures optimal functionality across multiple sites. Additionally, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects, enforce security protocols, manage disaster recovery, and maintain documentation. Strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of network protocols, and experience with enterprise network solutions are essential for success in this role.
Required Knowledge includes:
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco network systems, including Nexus-series switching, wireless, routing, and Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Administer and secure Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and manage access controls in alignment with company policies.
- Collaborate on cloud networking within Azure, ensuring secure, scalable connectivity between cloud and on-premises networks.
- Manage BIG-IP F5 load balancers, including enhanced features such as Web Application Firewall (WAF) features, to enhance application delivery and security.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF for efficient data flow and network stability.
- Support the evaluation and potential integration of Cisco Meraki and Juniper technologies into the current network environment.
- Document network configuration, updates, and troubleshooting processes, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Knowledge of Ansible for Network Automation is a plus,

- Coordinates system updates and replacement of outdated hardware.
- Assists in the facilitation of team meetings.
- Mentor's junior members of the team. Leads project work and delegates appropriately.
