The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, is partnered with an industry leading company on their search for a Sr Software Engineer. This onsite (5 days per week in Seffner, FL), permanent position offers a competitive base salary and excellent benefits.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain internal applications, integrations, and web services. This role includes leading software development projects and ensuring support for production and training environments. You will collaborate with teams to streamline processes, oversee code updates, and contribute to high-quality, business-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Quality Code: Write clean, reusable code adhering to quality standards.
- Leadership: Lead software projects, mentor team members, and conduct code reviews.
- Business Impact: Ensure alignment of software with business and customer objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional designs.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and address issues throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Process Adherence: Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices while maintaining project timelines.
- Technology Upgrades: Stay updated on technologies including cloud platforms, integrations, and data management tools.
Essential Functions
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform solution design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Lead architectural reviews and oversee code refactoring when necessary.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver software increments.
- Develop views, controllers, models, and assets using MVC/MVVM patterns.
- Provide production support and on-call assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5 years in IT/software development, with expertise in:
- .NET (C#), T-SQL programming.
- WebAPI, REST Services, JSON, VUE.js, GraphQL, Git.
- SQL Server: views, stored procedures, functions.
- Integrating enterprise applications (SSIS, OnBase, Dynamics AX).
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, team collaboration, and effective communication.
