The impact you will have in this role:
You will be a part of Middleware and Client Technology (MCT) team. This is a globally diverse and distributed team. The Data Quality & Data Hub Platforms Engineering team, within MCT, is responsible for platform engineering activities for critically important Data Quality and Data Hub platforms.
Data Quality and Data Hub platforms play a crucial role in DTCC’s overall data eco-system. Data Quality platform hosts jobs that perform Data Quality checks on a variety of data sources. Data Hub platform hosts jobs that support Data Integrations from Publisher(s) to Subscriber(s). Technology is at the core of our services, enhancing automation and innovation to advance, improve and maintain delivery to our customers. Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Platform Engineering activities for Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Data Integration Hub, Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange platforms.
- Installation, Setup, Configuration, Maintenance and Administration of various Informatica products in 24x7x365 global environment.
- Perform On-Call duties during weekends, and sometimes during weeknights. These activities include OS patching, Database patching, Network activities, Storage maintenance/migrations and more.
- Actively participate in end-to-end Disaster Recovery exercise activities, scheduled monthly during weekends. Occasionally, depending on circumstances, these exercises occur more than once in a month.
- Drive activities for vulnerability management. This requires collaborating with Informatica vendor, DTCC Technology Risk Management (TRM) team, DTCC Embedded Risk Management (ERM) team, DTCC Developers / Testers and Production Support associates.
- Assist Development and/or Testing associates with code migration activities for promoting code from lower environment(s) to higher environment(s).
- Design and Develop automation solutions for performing password rotations, managing connections, performing backups of critical configuration files and metadata repositories.
- Assist Development / Testing / Production Support associates in solving of job failures and long running jobs etc.
- Drive further cloud adoption through research and evaluation of both groundbreaking and well-established technologies.
- Mentor junior team members, document standard processes and share knowledge with other DTCC supporting teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT industry
Talents Needed for Success:
- Expert in working as Sr. Administrator for Informatica Data Quality setup in a distributed team setup environment.
- Demonstrated experience working as Sr. Administrator for Informatica Data Integration Hub setup in 24*7 global environment.
- Proficient in coordinating Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange products.
- Intermediate level experience with Linux shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of Oracle Database and Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Experienced in collaborating with multiple multi-functional teams (Developers, Testers, Network Engineers, Linux Administrators, Storage Engineers and Database Administrators).
- Expert level problem management and troubleshooting skills. Must have ability to lead activities for isolating issues and steer investigations in right direction depending upon logs/patterns/scenarios.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the organization, as well as business partners, vendors, and technical staff.
Additional Qualifications
- Detailed understanding of connectivity fundamentals from Informatica products to a variety of sources and/or target systems (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, Snowflake etc.)
- Intermediate level experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD tools/pipelines
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
- Knowledge of AWS cloud fundamentals and intermediate level skills with services like S3, Glue, Managed Database Management services. Certification(s) in AWS service(s) would be an added advantage.
