Contingent upon business needs, performance and completion of degree, our internship serves as a pipeline to our full-time early-career program EDGE.
What To Expect As a DTCC Intern
The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information solutions through activities that include development of essential business applications, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance. The Information Technology Intern will participate in the collection and analysis of project requirements, create technical specifications, build and test application code, assist in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects, can make contributions within their business areas, and learn from experts currently working within the field.

- A flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

The Information Technology Intern will participate in the collection and analysis of project requirements, create technical specifications, build and test application code, assist in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects, can make contributions within their business areas, and learn from experts currently working within the field.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis of project requirements and development of technical specifications.
- Assist in procedural and code documentation for assigned projects.
- Develop and test code for existing or proposed business applications.
- Perform troubleshooting of applications.
- NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. *
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the following curriculums: Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or Business & Technology Management
- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future)
- Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA to be considered
- Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills
- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus
- Good written & oral communication skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Ability to grasp new concepts
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
