The Dermatology Clinic, PLLC is the only full-service dermatology practice on the Gulf Coast under the direction of board-certified Dermatologists. Dr. Wingfield, Dr. Ortego, and their team of physician assistants treat the full range of hair, skin, and nail disorders. In addition, we perform laser and aesthetic services as well as advanced techniques in skin resurfacing for scars and wrinkles, botulinum treatment of wrinkles and all types of wrinkle fillers.

Position Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator will lead and direct the routine Human Resources functions of the business, including interviewing and onboarding staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Education & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field; a minimum of 2 years in an HR related role required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The Human Resources Coordinator role includes, but is not limited to:
- Recruits, interviews, and hires qualified job applicants, including managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Performs all new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Compiles and updates employee records.
- Organizes constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in accordance with company policy.
- Provides support and guidance to staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Processes documentation and prepares reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Processes payroll and analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees, including but not limited to customer service, HIPAA and OSHA training.
- Collaborates with leadership team to develop activities and events that foster and maintain a positive working environment and culture for the staff, including staff appreciation, team building, and special events. ·
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other administrative task as assigned.
