Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, located in Montclair, NJ. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized lesson plans and educational programs tailored to the needs of students with disabilities. Day-to-day tasks include classroom instruction, student assessment, progress tracking, and collaborating with staff and parents to support each student's development. The role also involves creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Education
- Proficiency in Communication and Teaching skills
- Background in Training students with disabilities
- Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in Special Education (NJ) is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
