Role Overview
TDC is seeking a Director of Member Services to lead our member success, engagement, and partnership initiatives. This individual will be critical in ensuring member retention, driving growth, and optimizing the overall member experience at TDC. Additionally, they will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with TDC’s mission, expand its influence, and create new opportunities for business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong relationship management skills, sales and customer service experience, and a deep understanding of cultivating and maintaining high-value memberships. This role is full-time based in Washington, DC, with frequent travel required for member engagement and events.
Key Responsibilities
Member Success & Retention
- Serve as the primary Relationship Manager for assigned member accounts, ensuring a seamless and valuable experience for members.
- Develop a deep understanding of each member’s business model, policy interests, and the specific benefits they seek from their TDC membership.
- Oversee and execute the delivery of membership benefits, coordinating with internal teams to ensure expectations are met.
- Renew member accounts annually for commission-based bonuses.
- Maintain strong personal relationships with decision-makers at member organizations, ensuring at least one in-person interaction annually.
- Track and analyze member engagement to identify opportunities for increased involvement and retention.
