This role requires a deep understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts, along with hands-on experience in Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable data architecture solutions using Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Implement ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into Snowflake.
• Optimize and tune Snowflake environments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and analysts.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and Snowflake.
• Manage metadata and data models
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in working with larger Banks/Financial institutions
• Proven experience as a Data Architect with a focus on Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Certification in Snowflake or related technologies.
