Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Dimock Center, a federally qualified community health center committed to delivering high-quality care to individuals, families, and communities.The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide competent, comprehensive, and culturally sensitive care to patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities : Hear and vision screen patientsPerform CLIA waived labs, including UA, pregnancy tests, rapid streps, blood glucose, rapid trich, and moreTriage patients and manage their care effectivelyAdminister medications, remove sutures / staples, and change dressings as neededProvide immunizations and therapeutic injectionsEducate patients on self-management techniques and promote healthy behaviorsClinically assess patients in emergency situations and provide appropriate careRoom patients, taking vital signs and conducting head circumference measurements as requiredConduct EKGs and manage Coumadin per protocolRequirements : Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficientlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality careFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesBenefits : $38-$42 per hour, commensurate upon experienceMonday through Friday, 9am-5pm schedule with rotating Saturdays as neededOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA supportive and collaborative work environmentAbout Us : The Dimock Center values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other status protected by law.
