Managing staff and ensuring guests have a positive experience. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the establishment, including managing seating arrangements, coordinating with kitchen staff, and monitoring food and beverage supplies. Floor Managers must be able to work under pressure and have excellent communication and customer service skills. They are also responsible for handling any customer complaints, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Additionally, Floor Managers must maintain a safe and clean environment for both staff and guests to ensure the health and safety of all parties involved. Successful candidates for this position should have a strong desire to work in the Hospitality industry and be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly by overseeing the operations of the floor staff
- Interact with customers to make sure they are satisfied with the service and handling any complaints or issues that arise
- Manage the floor staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising them to ensure excellent customer service
- Keep track of inventory and coordination of ordering supplies such as food and beverage
- Monitor reservations and seating arrangements to ensure that they are efficiently managed
- Calculate and plan the budget to achieve targets and maximize profits while keeping expenses under control.
