Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a casual bar environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to all safety and health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Supervise bar staff during shifts, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Train new staff members on bar operations, drink preparation, and customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly events
- Coordinate and facilitate band schedules and payments
- Stocking/prepping of bars for evening shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a casual dining or hotel setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage trends.
- Experience with supervising staff or shift management is a plus.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in training development is beneficial for fostering team growth.
