Art gallery seeking a custom picture framer/art installer. Experience of one or more years in framing a plus. We are seeking a qualified candidate who will be a valuable addition to our small business team. Our primary focus is high end, museum-quality picture framing; we specialize in custom out-of-the-box fine art displays. This work offers a great deal of fun and satisfaction.
Art Framer/Art Installer Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience picture framing
- Working knowledge of picture framing equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand while working
- Both independently motivated & a team player
- Attention to detail a must
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong sense of time management and ability to multitask
- Assertive with strong follow-through and a knack for identifying and solving problems
- Ability to work in a team, organize calendars and project dates
Strongly preferred for Art Framer/Art Installer
- Background in art/design
- Experience with art handling & installation
- Woodworking/carpentry skills
We are looking for someone hands-on and hardworking who possesses strong visual skills and a highly motivated, upbeat attitude. You're a self-starter and an out-of-the-box problem solver. You sweat the details but can quickly pivot when needed. Most of all, you are a professional who cares about the finished product. We are looking for a custom framer to add to our team, organize projects and materials lists and work along side experienced framers.
