What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rug Utility position at The Dixie Group?
The Dixie Group has a vacancy for Rug Utility at our distribution location in Adairsville, Georgia. Previous experience is preferred.
Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00-5:00 pm Monday-Friday with some Saturdays
Job Duties:
- Bind and serge rugs
- Stage correct yarn with rug for finishing
- Perform inspections
- Cut rugs to size according to work orders (basic math skills)
- Expedite rush orders
- Perform rug wrapping and inspection
- Clerical duties as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Knowledge of AS400, Microsoft Office Email
- Strong ability to prioritize
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-stress situations
- Must be a team player and self-motivated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.65 - $17.80 per hour
