The Dock Experts, LLC is seeking a Concrete and Carpentry Foreman to oversee and execute marine construction projects with a focus on demolition, forming, rebar work, framing, pouring, cutting, and finishing for docks and decks. This role requires hands-on construction labor, crew management, and ensuring that all projects meet budget, quality, and safety standards. You will work closely with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Site Preparation & Cleanliness – Prepare the site daily by organizing materials, tools, and equipment while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Team & Resource Management – Supervise and lead construction crews, ensuring efficient and quality work.
- Project Execution – Perform and oversee concrete and carpentry work including forming, framing, pouring, and finishing.
- Budget & Inventory Management – Monitor project budgets, order materials, and track inventory needs.
- Safety & Compliance – Enforce OSHA and company safety regulations, ensuring a hazard-free job site.
- Quality Control & Inspections – Conduct project inspections and ensure adherence to blueprints, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Customer Communication – Maintain professional communication with clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
- Training & Mentorship – Train and mentor crew members, reinforcing skills development and efficiency.
- Reporting & Problem-Solving – Provide daily project updates and address any issues that may arise.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of construction operations, concrete, and carpentry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Preferred:
- Experience in marine construction or a related field.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- First Aid Training.
