The Doctors Company is currently seeking an Associate Investment Analyst. This is a hybrid opportunity (two days a week) at our office in Napa, CA; East Lansing, MI; Jacksonville, FL; Austin, TX; or New York, NY.
The Associate Investment Analyst will support the functions of TDC Investments, primarily work related to the investment portfolio, but also supporting investment accounting and treasury. Investment support will include tracking, verifying, reporting, and documenting investment data across the team’s multiple platforms as well as contacting investment managers for data requests and scheduling calls. For investment accounting, the role is expected, at a minimum, to meet general accounting requests, track compliance, and compile monthly reports. For Treasury, the individual will run daily reports via banking portals, assist the reconciling team, and support the Treasury Manager as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar or data driven role
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage workflow and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to multitask
Support Investment Functions
- Track Investment Manager/Fund Data (monthly)
- Distributions to calculate accurate estimated yields and income projection
- Duration
- Bond, Equity sector breakout
- Credit rating weightings
- Verify manager reported performance with Clearwater results (monthly)
- Track equity income for projections by manager
- Contact investment managers for data requests and scheduling calls
- Complete sections of quarterly CIO Report
- Maintain documents for Schedule BA, including portal statements and capital calls
- Compile data for semi-annual real estate report
- Support the Chief Investment Officer with all other projects when requested
- Attend all Investment Team Meetings
- Meet general accounting requests
- Track compliance issues in Clearwater
- Run monthly system compliance reports

- Coupon (new purchase population, floating rate updates)
- System data verifications as needed
- Track and input COIN investments in Clearwater
- Compile monthly OTTI report
- Support Investment Accounting Team with all other projects when requested
- Run daily reports (image positive, fraud ACH protection, balances via banking portals)
- Assist the reconciling team
- Archive internal drive bi-yearly
- Support Treasury Manager with all other projects when requested
