Join The Doe Fund on our mission to break the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and recidivism. Our flagship Ready, Willing & Able (RWA) program provides paid transitional work experience, transitional housing, advanced occupational training, and comprehensive supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The Doe Fund is also one of New York City’s largest nonprofit developers of permanent affordable and supportive housing, with more than 1,900 units in operation or pre-development. The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $73 million and a full-time staff of nearly 500, a significant portion of whom are graduates of our programs.
The Residence Manager is responsible for the supervision of the residents and the overall operation of the facility during designated shifts. S / he will work collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Program Director to ensure that resident needs are being met as well as the safety of the facility.
The shifts that we are looking to cover are : Saturday – Sunday 9 : 00 am to 9 : 00 pm
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage any challenging situations and / or crises that may occur at the facility
- Function as a liaison between the residents and the staff
Collaborate with the security staff during the tour of duty to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents
