The Doe Run Company is seeking a HR Administrator to create and maintain employee records in HR files and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Support the hiring process by coordinating and completing administrative tasks. Provide new employee paperwork, complete data entry, and generate reports regarding employee data. This position is located at our Central Office in Viburnum, MO.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete HRIS data entry. Enter and update employee information in the HRIS in a timely manner. Establish and/or follow audit procedures to ensure data accuracy.
- Generate reports and calculate metrics. Conduct scheduled and ad hoc data tracking and reporting as needed.
- Create and maintain employee records in HRIS, SharePoint, etc. following established procedures to retain, archive, and purge records as needed.
- Provide information and guidance to employee questions of a routine nature regarding job openings, company policy, and benefits. Escalate complex situations to the HR business partner, talent acquisition, or leader, as necessary.
- Provide administrative support as needed to support business objects relevant to attraction, development, and retention.
- Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR administration or office administration.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, UKG, PeopleSoft, or other HRIS.
- Well organized with the ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Basic knowledge of laws related to human resources, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
Tools Utilized, Environmental Conditions, Physical & Lifting Requirements:
- Regularly required to use a computer/tablet and phones/radios.
- Work is generally performed in a standard office setting.
- Regularly required to sit for extended periods, and to talk and hear; Frequently required to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movement. Requires clarity of vision and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
- Rarely required to lift 6-15 pounds.
