This position offers a competitive base pay and is eligible for the Company variable pay (bonus) plan. Benefits start first day and include insurance, paid time off, and various customer discount programs.
The Doe Run Company is currently seeking a Transportation Manager to direct the transportation department to deliver goods to our customers as efficiently as possible while minimizing costs, controlling inventories and allowing the least amount of environmental impact possible. This position is based out of our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Engineering, Environmental, Business Administration or related field.
- Hazardous Materials Training (DOT).
- More than 10 years of experience as a Transportation Manager.
- Experience negotiating transportation contracts.
- Experience projecting and forecasting transportation needs.
- Managerial / Supervisory experience
