Job Description:
The Dog Shop Kentucky is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This position involves engaging with customers in our store, driving sales, and enhancing our brand presence on social media platforms. If you love dogs and have a knack for both sales and social media, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Sales:
· Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs, providing excellent customer service.
· Offer product recommendations based on customers’ needs and preferences.
· Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
· Handle cash register operations, including processing sales transactions and managing inventory.
· Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and services to answer customer inquiries effectively.
Social Media Management:
· Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
· Create and curate engaging content for our social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
· Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
· Track and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize content and strategies.
· Collaborate with the team to promote store events, sales, and special promotions.
· Stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
· Proven experience in retail sales and customer service.
· Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools for business purposes.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
· Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
· Passion for dogs and a good understanding of pet products and care.
· Basic knowledge of graphic design or photography is a plus.
