What You’ll Do:

Be the Brand Champion

  • Ensure consistency in messaging, visuals, and marketing execution across all franchise locations.
  • Develop and manage local store marketing campaigns while providing franchisees with tools and guidance to execute effectively.

Support & Guide Franchise Owners

  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison for franchisees, helping them drive traffic, increase engagement, and grow revenue.
  • Provide one-on-one marketing coaching and training sessions to educate franchise owners on best practices.
  • Act as a franchisee advocate, helping bridge the gap between local store needs and corporate marketing strategy.

Drive Local & Digital Marketing Success

  • Develop local store marketing playbooks with community engagement strategies, promotions, and event planning guidance.
  • Support franchisees with Google Business Profile optimization, local SEO strategies, and digital advertising.
  • Oversee social media strategy and execution, ensuring franchise locations are effectively leveraging organic social media.

Analyze & Optimize Performance

  • Track key marketing metrics, assess campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on franchisee marketing performance, offering insights to optimize marketing efforts across locations.

Manage and Establish Partner Relationships

  • Work with external marketing agencies and vendors to execute digital marketing, PR, and creative initiatives.
  • Assist franchisees in selecting and managing local marketing vendors (e.g., printing, signage, media buys).

Bring the Energy!

  • Collaborate with the broader marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment in brand strategy and messaging.
  • Brainstorm creative marketing ideas and initiatives to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Represent The Dog Stop within the community and at franchisee meetings and industry events as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Marketing Experience: At least 3 years of experience supporting marketing efforts across multiple locations or clients, with a mix of digital marketing and local store marketing.
  • Strategic & Hands-On: Ability to think big-picture while also rolling up your sleeves to execute campaigns.
  • Relationship Builder: Must be a strong communicator and collaborator—you’ll work closely with franchisees, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Comfortable analyzing performance metrics to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Mar-Tech Savvy: Experience with several various mar-tech tools, including HubSpot, Canva, Social Media Platforms, WordPress, GMB, etc.
  • Passion for Pets & People: Bonus points if you’re a dog lover—because at The Dog Stop, we’re all about happy pups and happy people!
