Duties
- Prepare and roll sushi using fresh ingredients while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new sushi roll ideas based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi preparation area.
- Help with inventory management, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are stocked and fresh.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of sushi techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or restaurant settings, is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques related to meal preparation and food presentation.
- A background in dietary departments or related fields is a plus.
