We are seeking a(n) Minor Mentor for Dollywood Parks & Resorts who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand.

The right Minor Mentor checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.
The HR Minor Mentor is responsible for ensuring compliance of labor laws for all minor hosts (under age 18) working for the Dollywood Company, and addressing related issues as necessary.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Organize, coordinate and implement the tracking of minor hosts working for the Dollywood Company to ensure all federal and state regulations are followed.
- Conduct daily and weekly audits of timecards and schedules of minor hosts.
- Serve as liaison with teams who employ minor hosts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with company leaders
- Complete property tours throughout shift to check in with minor hosts and their leaders to ensure our hosts are doing well. Address any immediate needs as required.
- Guide minor hosts through employment processes including UKG, Humanity and timeclock practices.
- Check in with minor hosts to ensure hosts are abiding by wardrobe guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with orientation classes as necessary for minor hosts.
- Administer positive discipline as required to host found to be noncompliant with program guidelines.
- Oversee space dedicated to minor hosts, maintaining cleanliness and safety of area.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times to ensure that there is no release of information pertaining to Dollywood records or any other matter without approval.
- Be knowledgeable of and assist with employment functions of new hosts to include, but not limited to: job requisitions, interview screening, background checks, and host ID’s.
- Assist with HR events as needed.
- Outside of minor mentor duties, will be required to assist with multiple functions within Human Resources to include: front desk, data entry and filing.

Education and Experience Required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with youth or students is preferred.
- Proven proficiency in common computer software such as data management, word processing, and spread sheets is required.
- Experience with various filing systems or other organizational systems preferred.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
