The TimeSaver Team Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day TimeSaver operations, including hiring, training, discipline, and evaluation of TimeSaver team members. This position is responsible for achieving departmental goals focused on safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and revenue. This position is a leadership role with both operational and administrative responsibilities that ensure the team is able to provide the best possible experience for our Guests and Hosts.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.
Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Prepare work schedules, training outlines, and process payroll on a weekly basis
- Interact and build positive relationships with other departments
- Ensure computer equipment and systems are fully operational
- Act as Person in Charge on a regular basis
- Coaching of Hosts and discussing disciplinary action recommendations to leadership
- Completing and issuing of Hosts Performance Evaluations
- Create and maintain Hosts records
- Respond to Guests’ verbal comments in a friendly manner
- Ensure proper flow of communication among all leadership levels regarding significant dates, events, meetings, etc.
- Participate in the hiring process
- Schedule Hosts to meet needs of daily budgeted and projected attendance
- Assist Admissions Supervisor with monitoring of labor budget, control costs, and developing plans for more effective Guest Service
- Ensure team has required equipment and supplies
- Make quick and accurate decisions concerning operations
- Make recommendations for updating the TimeSaver manual and guidelines
- Monitor line speed and immediately respond to volume to ensure excellent Guest Service
- Lead TimeSaver Trainers and TimeSaver Team Members to ensure goals and responsibilities are met
- Work varying hours, including overtime as necessary
- Cross train in various departments to support park operations
- Provide a team environment that encourages Hosts to utilize the Dollywood Open Door policy
- Work with Entertainment team to provide accurate show information and seating capacities for TimeSaver Guests

Education and Experience Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years Guest services/ticket selling experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance
- Must be able to pass a typing test (score of 25 wpm or greater)
- Must be able to speak in front of a small or large group of peers
- Must be able to take initiative, self-supervising
- Must be able to analyze and remember information
- Must be able to organize administrative functions effectively
- Must be able to read/write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English
- Must have above average verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to operate admissions point of sale system, turnstiles, scanners, phone equipment, computer, various printers, copier, tablets, and calculator
- Must be able to complete basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to train others in a positive yet constructive manner
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
