Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepping, cooking, and serving food
- Dishwashing
- Set up and clean up of all kitchen areas
- Must be able to take direction from other team members as assigned
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to travel to different schools in St. Paul (most schools are accessible by bus)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Available Monday through Friday between 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Preferred: Experience in food handling
- Friendly and helpful demeanor with staff and students
- Ability to perform basic math and item tracking
- Capability to handle periods of strenuous physical work and to perform well under time pressure
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability frequently push and/ or pull up to 75 pounds
- Ability to continuously stand
Salary
- $17.00 - $18.00 p/hour
Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines.
