Job Description:
The Dolphins Swim Team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about swimming and enjoys working with children and parents in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-water swimming lessons for individuals and groups.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of each swimmer.
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons.
- Provide feedback and encouragement to help swimmers improve their skills.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of swimming techniques and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Outgoing personality with the ability to engage and motivate swimmers
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents and other instructors
- Capacity to work in a culturally diverse environment
- Desire to learn and grow as an instructor
Requirements:
- Proven swimming experience.
- Ability to give in-water lessons.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or coach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
