Overview
The Dominion Club, a premier private club in Glen Allen, Virginia and part of Heritage Golf Group. Since being purchased by Heritage Golf Group, the Club has undergone numerous capital improvement projects around the club, including a complete driving range renovation, new golf course amenities, and renovation of dining areas in the clubhouse. The Club has a very active membership of golfing members, along with a fully-packed events and tournament schedule.

The golf shop is more than a place to buy golf equipment or apparel — it’s a curated Member amenity where hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail make a lasting impression. As Golf Shop Manager, you’ll help deliver the high standards our members expect and deserve.
Experience Required
- Previous golf shop or retail management experience (golf industry experience preferred, but not required)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and trends
- Proficiency in POS systems (Jonas), Microsoft Office, and Canva
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays for events
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the golf shop, including opening/closing procedures
- Deliver exceptional service to members and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Ring up golfers, handle transactions, and maintain accurate records in the point-of-sale system
- Manage and maintain the daily tee sheet, coordinating with staff and golf professionals
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and purchasing of apparel, equipment, and accessories
- Perform accurate end-of-month inventory
- Train, schedule, and supervise golf shop staff
- Coordinate with golf professionals to support tournaments, lessons, and member events
- Maintain organized displays and ensure cleanliness and functionality of the shop
- Monitor sales, manage budgets, and prepare reports for club leadership
