Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single-family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a Loan Application Specialist to join our growing team.

- Provide detailed and accurate daily reports to management.
- Maintain and audit a variety of spreadsheets and report any exceptions to management.
- Contact borrowers, investors, insurance companies on an ongoing basis to help ensure loans close on time.
- Obtain reports need for verification purposes from third party sites.
- Maintain a filing system for open and closed loan files to allow all employees to easily find files without assistance.
- Create borrower files and ensure the documents added are correctly titled.
- Complete additional administrative tasks assigned by management in a timely manner.
- 3-5 years of administrative experience – Preferably in the Financial industry.
- Experience maintaining and updating detailed electronic filing systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience working with Salesforce is a plus
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Technically savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
