We are looking for a passionate Assistant Director of Compliance to join our multidisciplinary New York City and Washington DC team and contribute to our goal of making a difference.
We are seeking an Assistant Director of Compliance who will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies, while driving quality improvement initiatives across multiple locations. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the integrity of our programs and maintaining our high standards of care.

What You Will Do:
Oversees all aspects of the company compliance program including developing policy and procedures, maintaining a written compliance plan and conducting regular audits to identify areas of improvement.
Manages chart audits and utilization review systems to ensure compliance with insurance standards and internal clinical charting requirements.
Partners with the Director of Clinical Operations to ensure company-wide conformance to The Dorm’s established policies, procedures, protocols and compliance including conducting and leading trainings as necessary.
Identifies new tools and resources to bring efficiency and foster staff compliance with policy, procedures and protocols.
Leads company wide ongoing CARF Accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with all applicable CARF Standards and ensures all future Dorm locations achieve maximum accreditation upon opening.
Oversees licensure efforts ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and manages a HIPAA compliance program at The Dorm.
Leads investigations relating to reports of known or suspected violations of the compliance program.
Ensures company alignment and compliance with payor requirements across all departments. Serves as lead liaison for external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization’s internal controls.
Must be able to work three days in-person.
What You Need to Qualify:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, quality improvement, or operations within a healthcare or clinical setting.
Strong familiarity with managed care, CARF Accreditation standards and healthcare regulations.
Prior supervisory and management experience required.
Experience in handling audits, regulatory compliance, and policy implementation is highly desirable.
