Position Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for directing and promoting the sale of Double Cola Company products in the assigned territory. This shall be done to achieve maximum brand growth and profitability and to achieve both case sales distribution KPIs.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- Develop and grow sales and account base in the Central Southeast.
- Identify opportunities and obstacles in the market and provide recommendations on how to achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary contact person with distributor General Managers and/or Sales Managers.
- Maintain distributor focus on Double Cola Company brands.
- Responsible for managing, directing and training distributor personnel.
- Communicate current sales programs via sales meetings and one-on-one work with distributor sales reps.
- Review sales and distribution; recommend corrective action.
- Obtain pertinent sales and statistical data.
- Maintain all appropriate records.
- Develop and implement individual programs as needed to increase sales.
- Oversee and maintain rapport with national and regional key accounts in the territory, ensuring POS allocation, new item set ups, etc.
- Sell monthly programs at headquarters and regional office levels for displays, price promotions and shelf space management.
- Expand package and flavor distribution in new and existing accounts.
- Collaborate with distributors to drive in-store execution, including merchandising and activations.
- Perform regularly scheduled surveys for competitive activity, market trends, and proper pricing and program implementation.
- Work with Area Sales Managers and Merchandisers to provide training and to monitor sales and administrative activity as well as to assist in special accounts.
- Participate in community activities and events including coordinating and supervision.
- Submit all weekly, monthly and special reports, including itineraries, to the Sr. Director of Sales & Distribution in a timely manner.
- Responsible for managing all Double Cola Company products point of sale within territory.
- Responsible for monitoring and reviewing for accuracy all distributor/account bill backs and charges.
REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS:
- Proven experience in sales management within the beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Position is fully remote; travelling in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel: This position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet with distributors, key accounts, and attend community events.
Physical Demands: The role involves lifting and carrying cases of product, promotional materials and point-of-sale items, as well as standing for extended periods during events and meetings.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
