Job Overview:
As a Pizza Production Chef, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen, responsible for preparing, cooking, and managing our buffet and takeout pizza operations. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for pizza. If you have experience working in a high-volume kitchen, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Manage high-volume pizza production for both buffet and takeout orders, keeping up with customer demand
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food preparation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak times
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering ingredients to ensure kitchen is always stocked
- Ensure that all pizzas are made according to customer specifications and restaurant standards
- Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of kitchen stations and equipment
- Keep the pizza station organized, clean, and efficient during shifts
- Provide exceptional service in a high-energy environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pizza maker or pizza chef, especially in a high-volume kitchen (buffet and/or takeout experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, toppings, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
- Ability to follow recipes and manage time effectively
- Flexible schedule with availability during peak hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
