What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temp Porter position at The Douglaston Companies?
Who we're looking for:
We're looking to build the best teams possible with highly motivated and engaged employees. We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Porter to join out team at The Douglaston Companies.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning common areas in office buildings
- Maintain exterior areas
- Collect and sort trash
- Salt and shovel snow during inclement weather
- Some minor handy work may include changing light bulbs, replacing blinds and small paint touch-up jobs
Qualifications, skills and abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year or more of Porter experience (building cleaning experience will be considered)
- Heavy lifting (50 lbs.) is required
