The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations within our establishment. The Director will lead a team of culinary and service professionals, ensuring that all food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality and service while driving profitability and operational efficiency. This position will report to and support the Director of Food and Beverage with the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative food and beverage concepts that align with the brand’s vision and guest expectations.
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, storage, and waste management to optimize cost efficiency.
- Lead training development initiatives to enhance staff skills in food handling, kitchen management, and customer service.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to achieve revenue targets.
- Foster a positive work environment by mentoring staff and promoting teamwork across all departments.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing feedback promptly and implementing improvements as needed.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products are sourced at competitive prices.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management within various settings such as quick service or fast food establishments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and practices to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Excellent understanding of hospitality principles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
