Technician Apprentice

Position Overview

We clean and repair dryer vents as well as service bathroom and kitchen exhaust ducts. There are many dryer fires in the United States each year due to a lack of dryer vent maintenance and property owners must have their dryer vent cleaned out regularly in order mitigate against this fire hazard (as well as water damage, premature appliance repair / replacement, corroding ductwork, etc.). We make our customer's dryer vents clean, safe and efficient — and we do this better than anyone else. We provide greater knowledge, superior equipment, robustly trained technicians, the best products available and an unchallenged breadth of specialized service. On average, a technician makes four service calls each day.

Location

We're headquarted out of Fredericksburg, VA but our techs take their vans home and rarely need to come to Fredericksburg. During the apprenticeship, you are almost entirely meeting your technician to ride in their work van. This position includes driving throughout NOVA to service our clients, but we try to keep you closer to home when possible.

Compensation & Benefits

Ride Alongs (the first 3 days) — $100 cash pay each day to make sure we're a good fit
Apprenticeship (about 4-6 months) — $18-22 per hour direct deposit, paid weekly
Technician (first year) — typically $52-62k with bonuses
Technician (second year and beyond) — typically $55-95k with bonuses

PTO, sick time, 401k, health insurance and the other benefits will be detailed through the hiring process.
