Job Description:
The Dunagan Group is seeking a highly skilled and dependable full-time pilot certified to operate a King Air E90. This individual will not only serve as the primary pilot but also take full responsibility for managing the aircraft to ensure it remains in optimal condition, in compliance with all FAA regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and flexible, with a strong commitment to safety and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as pilot-in-command for approximately 150 flight hours per year.
- Maintain all FAA-required certifications, ratings, and medical clearances.
- Ensure strict adherence to FAA regulations, safety standards, and operating procedures specific to the King Air E90.
- Fully manage the aircraft, including:
- Overseeing and scheduling routine and preventive maintenance.
- Managing annual inspections, service records, and logbooks.
- Coordinating with FAA-certified maintenance providers.
- Keep the aircraft clean, organized, and flight-ready at all times.
- Stock the aircraft with beverages, snacks, and personal comfort items preferred by The Dunagan Group.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and safety.
- File flight plans, monitor weather conditions, and make necessary adjustments for flight safety.
- Maintain detailed records of flight time, fuel consumption, maintenance, and incidents.
- Be available for travel on short notice, including overnight stays, weekend travel, and multi-day trips, as business needs dictate.
- Provide excellent in-flight service with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine land (MEL) rating.
- Certified to operate a King Air E90 with documented flight hours in type.
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate (minimum).
- Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airspace, navigation systems, and emergency procedures.
- Experience managing all aspects of aircraft operations, including maintenance coordination.
- Excellent decision-making skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High degree of flexibility, reliability, and professional discretion.
- Must be able to lift luggage and perform basic physical tasks required for aircraft preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a corporate or private pilot.
- Customer service experience, especially in VIP or executive travel.
- Familiarity with southeast U.S. regional airports.
