What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent, Evenings and Mid-shifts position at The Dunes Hotel?
Responsibilities:
The Front Desk Agent is directly responsible for the prompt, efficient, and courteous check in and check out of guests, assisting with room reservations and handling of telephone calls, and for meeting many other guest needs during their stay.
- We are a digital check-in. Must be proficient with computers and general technology. Competent with credit card and PMS systems.
- Many hours spent standing are required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move luggage and other objects.
- Help the housekeeping staff with tasks; including quality room checks, providing supplies to guests, occasional cleaning, linen stripping.
- Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Upholds the hotel's commitment to hospitality.
- Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
