Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Leader to spearhead the development of improved battery performance through optimization of battery design parameters. This work will involve product design, process design and scale-up expertise in order to deliver the critical-to-performance parameters in the assembled battery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in material science, process development and battery technologies. He will have strong internal and external collaboration skills to bring the right resources together to resolve technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a product and process design roadmap focused on identifying critical-to-performance parameters.
- Lead a cross-functional team to develop and execute learning and validation plans
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align project scope with business goals.
- Where applicable:
- Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget constraints.
- Communication of technical issues and challenges to senior leadership.
- Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in materials science or engineering and/or a closely related field.
- 10 years of experience in Materials Science and Process Development, with experience in Battery technologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful development of solutions to technical problems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex issues into simple problem statements.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
