The SNO Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations related to material movements, ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and shipped efficiently and effectively. - Manage overall site Shipping/Receiving Operations providing instruction to lift drivers & oversight of the Site Miscellaneous Shipping Process.
- Maintains and ensures the accuracy of shipping documents and audits the receipts of incoming materials as to actual receipts vs. the accompanying packing slips.
- Ensures proper handling of materials & finished product and that all outbound shipments are made on a timely basis.
- Maintain all levels of Inventory accuracy and documentation of cycle count processes
- Use SAP and REFLEX (or WMS) to plan inter-plant shipments.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Perform all tasks of REFLEX key-user, including maintaining all REFLEX master data.
- Communicates shift operation schedules to transportation partners & Warehouse Operations
- Ensures proper housekeeping of the Shipping & Receiving
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP and REFLEX (or WMS) knowledge as pertain to inventory and operations. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and thoroughly, utilizing a solid base in SAP & REFLEX (or WMS).
- SAP knowledge as it pertains to the supply chain and planning and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues, or a solid base in SAP knowledge with the ability and interest to learn quickly.
- Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to acquire and maintain Duracell sit-down forklift certification.
- Capability of using independent judgement and possess effective and timely decision-making skills.
- The ability to read and write and adequately communicate across organizational boundaries both up and down the supply chain while maintaining professionalism.
- The ability to convey REFLEX/WMS technical issues and concepts to an audience that does not have a REFLEX/WMS planning background.
- Willingness to provide excellent customer support.
- Ability to address and analyze problems and thus work effectively across organizational boundaries to bring problems to resolution.
- The ability to maintain the confidentiality of the information being handled.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with conflict, to face issues head on and work through issues in a positive manner.
- Ability to work well with other both internal and external to the site (including contractors).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide training/direction to other when necessary.
- Able to acquire and maintain USDOT & IATA Hazmat certification.
- Ability to manage all aspects of the REFLEX warehouse management system including system updates, managing users, troubleshooting system errors, researching, and correcting transactional errors, and implementing system set up of new materials, storage locations, and new truck line/carrier codes.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (gloves, hardhat, eye protection, safety shoes, hearing protection) per site policies.
- Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience
