Duties And Responsibilities
- Carry out the duties of a front desk agent including, but not limited to: taking calls, making reservations, checking guests in/out, and assisting with billing and/or discrepancies.
- Greet every guest upon arrival and during departure.
- Register guest into the Hotel in a prompt and courteous manner; prepare for group check-in and check-out, VIP arrivals.
- Balance and audit for accurate room revenue and food and beverage revenue; assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
- Balance and audit for accurate room and tax charges, cashier reports, and house accounts.
- Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepare customer tracking report, market segmentation report, food and beverage revenue report necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of hotel revenues and expenses.
- Input invoices into accounting software and maintain accounting inbox.
- Communicate with other hotel departments as necessary to resolve accounting discrepancies and to request or provide information.
- Maintain good customer relations by being knowledgeable of all in-house and area functions to provide guests with accurate information.
- Maintain information and communication sources to enhance department communications and operations.
- Complete daily in-room coffee orders.
- Perform wake up calls and other assignments as requested.

- Good knowledge of the English language is mandatory as well as the ability to speak, read and write clearly. Must be able to read and listen to instructions, memos, short correspondences, and messages. Bi-lingual a plus.

Experience
- 2 years of hotel experience.
- A minimum of 1 year working overnight.
- Knowledge of Stayntouch PMS system and M3 accounting software preferred but not required.
- Prior outlook experience a plus.
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
