Community Manager – Property Management
We are seeking a Community Manager with solid affordable housing experience. This dynamic, hands-on position is responsible for the operations of a multi-family, LIHTC community in the Grand Rapids area.

Summary of Responsibilities:
· Tenant Relations/Customer Service
· Occupancy
· Rent collection
· Compliance with Tax Credit program
· Lease and rule compliance
· Managing expenditures
· Maintenance oversight, including work order monitoring and curb appeal
· Staff and project oversight/scheduling
Necessary Skills:
· Positive leader who supports the team
· Proven problem-solving ability
· Clear verbal and written communication skills
· Work independently as well as part of a team
· Maintain accessibility and approachability
· Assess and report condition of common area, units and facilities
· Knowledge of RealPage (or similar) management software
· Fair Housing Law/Practices
Education:
· High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
· Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred
Specialized Experience:
· Property Management experience required.
· Affordable Housing experience required.
Certificates and Licenses:
· Valid driver's license and means of transportation
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
· Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Ability to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and contractors
· Ability to thrive and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, strong sense of urgency and solid time management
· Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
