Bartender

As a Bartender/Mixologist at The Early Owl, you will be an integral part of our beverage program, creating and serving exceptional drinks to our guests. Your expertise in mixology, passion for craft cocktails, and dedication to delivering outstanding customer service will contribute to an unforgettable bar experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Preparation: Craft and serve a wide variety of handcrafted cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty beverages with precision and creativity. Apply your knowledge of mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients to create unique and memorable drink offerings.

2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, recommending drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere at the bar. Understand and anticipate guests’ preferences, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.

3. Menu Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the bar menu, including cocktail recipes, ingredients, and presentation. Be able to confidently describe and recommend drinks to guests, adapting to their preferences and dietary restrictions.

4. Bar Operations: Adhere to established bar operations and service standards, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, following cash-handling procedures.

5. Ingredient Management: Manage and maintain the bar inventory, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other ingredients. Monitor stock levels, restock as needed, and collaborate with management for inventory ordering.

6. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the bar team, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional service. Collaborate on developing new drink recipes, special promotions, and events to enhance the overall bar experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a fast-paced bar or restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beverages.
• Proficiency in mixology techniques, drink preparation, and presentation.
• Passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and work effectively within a team.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain composure in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and adherence to local regulations.
• Flexibility in working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
