The Early School is seeking to hire a part-time caregiver in our toddler program. You will be working with children 18 months to 3 years of age.
We are looking for a loving and nurturing team player who values play, developmentally appropriate practices, and a creative/hands-on learning approach. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and parents both written and verbally and willing to learn the unique culture of The Early School. Must be comfortable changing diapers and potty training. Previous classroom experience with toddlers preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
-30 hours of approved Infant/Toddler training with 12 months experience working in a licensed group care setting is preferred.
- AA in Early Childhood Education or equivalent with 30 hours of approved Infant/Toddler training and 24 months experience working in a licensed group care setting.
-Current registration with Hawaii Department of Human Services Early Childhood Registry
Hours: Monday-Friday 12:30pm-5:30pm
