EAST HAMPTON STAR - general assignment reporter, full time, covering a range of beats from education, local government and breaking news to business, arts, cultural, and human interest stories in a dynamic and diverse community. Previous experience preferred, but will train the right candidate with demonstrated writing skills and a strong interest in community journalism. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to work locally, noting that housing is a challenge in this region. Salary range $26 to $31 per hour, based on experience.
