Eastern LLC is an innovative snow removal company well established in the Mid-Atlantic and currently undergoing massive expansion. - Monitoring inventory levels and arranging logistics for equipment and supplies.
- Managing budgets and creating forecasts for future expenditures
- Creating reports that detail shipping activity or summarize other business operations
- Supervising a team within the warehouse/shop to assure timely completion of work and adherence to policies and procedures, identifying all necessary resources required and identifying potential barriers.
- To ensure vehicles always run safely and efficiently, the fleet manager must direct the following activities:
- Vehicle scheduling and dispatch
- Efficient asset utilization and route planning
- Vehicle inspection and maintenance
- Real-time vehicle location tracking
- Vehicle performance monitoring, record keeping, and improvement
- Ability to commute/relocate: Philadelphia, PA/Norristown, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
- Availability and ability to work all snow and ice events.
- Ability to work in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe PDF
- Minimum 5 years experience in fleet management, preferably from trucking industry, or heavy equipment.
- Some form of Higher education.
